Terem Moffi, a forward for the Super Eagles, might make his Lorient Ligue 1 comeback against OGC Nice on Sunday.
Since getting hurt on his ankle during Lorient’s 0-0 home tie with Stade de Reims on October 15, Moffi has been out of commission.
The 23-year-old returned to training early this week and is now in contention for Les Merlus’ home fixture against Nice.
The striker would be further assessed in today’s training session to ascertain his fitness level.
Moffi and Kone should participate in Saturday’s session,” Lorient manager, Regis Le Bris told Telegramme.
The Nigerian has been in fantastic form for Lorient this season netting eight goals in 11 league appearances.
