Yunus Musah, a midfielder for Valencia, has insisted that he is open to the idea of possibly returning to Arsenal soon.
At the age of nine, Musah enrolled in the Arsenal academy. He spent the next seven years there before moving on to Valencia in 2019.
He has since established himself in Valencia and is also expected to travel to Qatar later this month to compete for the USA in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Musah has a €100 million release clause in his contract with Valencia which runs until 2026, while the 19-year-old has been linked with Arsenal, Liverpool and Juventus.
“You never know,” Musah told CBS Sports when asked about a possible return to Arsenal.
“I had a great time at Arsenal developing there, I still have friends there, the coaches were great, being an Arsenal player, in general, is great.
“I loved playing for Arsenal. I have nothing against the club and if one day it turns out to be that it’s time to go back, then it is possible.
“For now, I am really happy at Valencia and I am looking forward to carrying this season on in the same way we are doing now.”
