Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, paid a courtesy visit to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in Abuja, in honor of an invitation by the National Chairman of the Party, Iyorchia Ayu.
Mohammed led a delegation of Bauchi State stakeholders of the PDP to visit Atiku in Abuja days after he sent a letter to Ayu accusing the former vice president of looking away as crises that has consumed the PDP’s structure in Bauchi.
It was unclear whether or not Atiku was queried over the letter, but he did not issue a public response addressing Mohammed’s complaints.
Members of the delegation were Senators Bala Kariya and Adamu Gumba, Speaker of the State House of Assembly Abubakar Sulaiman and PPS, Samaila Burga. Issues related to unity and the progress of the Party were discussed and amicably addressed.
In attendance were Ayu, DG PDP Presidential Campaign Council and Sokoto State Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal and former Jigawa State governor, Sule Lamido.
