Nigerian Movie Stars Storm Jos To Show Solidarity For Tinubu

Some Nollywood and Kannywood movie stars descended on Jos, the Plateau State capital, today to show solidarity and support for Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate for the 2023 general election.

WITHIN NIGERIA, it was previously reported that supporters and loyalists of the ruling APC flocked out today as the party officially launched its presidential campaign for 2023.

The campaign kicked off at the Rwang Pam township stadium in Jos, Plateau State’s capital.

Jide Kosoko, Gentle Jack, Sani Mu’azu, Foluke Daramola, Ali Nuhu, Zack Orji, Taiwo Hassan, Bimbo Akintola, and Saheed Balogun are among the Nollywood and Kannywood actors who were spotted at the event in Jos.

Some musicians, including Terry G and Zulezu, were said to have performed at the event, and the actors danced to various songs to show their support for the APC candidate.

Speaking on behalf of members of the Kannywood industry in Nigeria, actor Ali Nuhu stated that they were present to solicit Nigerians’ support for Tinubu and Shettima.

He urged those who had yet to obtain their Permanent Voters Cards (PVC) to do so in order to vote for the APC presidential candidate.

Nuhu went on to say that they would do whatever it took to mobilize their members and fans in support of Tinubu/Shettima.

I am here with some of my colleagues and we are here to pledge our support for Tinubu, he added.

Another veteran actor, Jide Kosoko, in a brief remark, said the movie stars were in Jos to show their solidarity and support for Tinubu.

Kosoko, who observed that Tinubu could tackle the country’s challenges, noted he has proven his mettle in every position he has ever held.
