The squads representing the five African nations at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar have been leaked on social media.
WITHIN NIGERIA reports that the FIFA World Cup games, which begin on Sunday, November 20th, will feature 32 teams representing their country.
Nigeria, Côte d’Ivoire, Algeria, and Egypt did not qualify for Africa, while Italy, Russia’s 2018 hosts, and Norway will not compete in Europe.
Although the continent is home to top professional athletes, no African country has ever won the World Cup since its inception.
Football fans, particularly in Africa, are optimistic that this year will be different.
Below are the African team squads for Qatar World Cup 2022:
Ghana
Ghana qualified for their first world cup in 2006 and became the third African nation to qualify in the quarter-finals for the 2010 edition in South Africa
Ghana will battle with Portugal, Uruguay, and South Korea in the Group H category

Senegal is also among the teams representing Africa in the World Cup. The team will battle hosts Qatar, Ecuador, and the Netherlands in the group A category.
