Gernot Rohr, former Super Eagles head coach, believes Tunisia’s Carthage Eagles can challenge Denmark for second place in Group D of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
France is the favourite to win the group, with former European champions Denmark expected to finish second ahead of Tunisia and Australia.
Tunisia finishing second to Les Blues, according to Rohr, is not out of the question.
“This is your chance. They (Tunisia) have a chance to challenge Denmark for second place, albeit as underdogs,” Rohr told Wettbassis.
Tunisia will open their campaign against Denmark at the Education City Stadium, Al Rayyan on Tuesday (today).
The North Africans will later face Australia and France.
