Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers, has recalled how the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar humilated the former President Of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan in 2015.
When Atiku quit the PDP, Jonathan, the incumbent president and the party’s candidate, went to the Dorchester Hotel in London and urged Atiku to join the party and support him, according to Wike.
He remarked, perplexed as to why people so readily forget the past, “But Atiku handed Jonathan a condition that he must renounce the party ticket.”
