The All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, kicked off the party’s presidential campaign rally in Ebonyi State on Thursday.
The party’s presidential rally/governorship campaign launch was held at the Pa Oruta Ngele Township stadium in Abakaliki, the state capital, according to WITHIN NIGERIA.
Tinubu arrived at the campaign rally wearing the popular Igbo attire, Isiagu, amid cheers from APC supporters who had already stormed the stadium before his arrival.
As the APC Presidential candidate made his way to the VIP area, he was seen waving to the ecstatic crowd dressed in bright colours.
According to reports, the event drew many APC supporters from the state’s 13 Local Government Areas.
Former APC Governorship candidate in Anambra State, Senator Andy Uba; Speaker of Enugu State House of Assembly, Edward Ubosi; Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri; former Speaker House of Representatives, Demeji Bankole; and member representing Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency of Ebonyi, Hon. Chinedu Ogah were among those present at the rally.
Governors David Umahi (Ebonyi), Babagana Zulum (Borno), Abubakar Bagudu (Kebbi), Mohammed Badaru (Jigawa), Hope Uzodimma (Imo), and Ben Ayade attended the rally (Cross River).
