Osun State governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke on Sunday announced the appointment of Mr Teslim Igbalaye, former Local Government and ALGON chairman as the Secretary to the State Government.
Olawale Rasheed who confirmed that the appointment letter was signed by the governor himself, added that a former Local Government Chairman, Mr Kazeem Akinleye is now the Chief of Staff to the Governor.
Meanwhile, Rasheed Olawale was also mentioned as the governor’s spokesperson.
In the last election, Adeleke polled 403,371 votes to beat the incumbent, Gboyega Oyetola, of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who polled 375,027 votes.
Adeleke becomes the sixth governor of the 29-year old state but only the sixth to be elected.
Adeleke was born on 13 May 1960 into the wealthy and politically influential Adeleke family in Ede, one of the major towns in the state.
