The Lagos State government has announced an SDGs competition in which it will reward N5 million to three winning concepts that address each of the SDGs. The grant proposes to fund 51 projects across Lagos state that achieve SDG targets (3 projects per SDG).
The SDGs Grant Competition was designed as part of a plan to mobilize collective action to achieve progress on the SDGs through positive, transformative, collaborative, and scalable social, economic, and environmental projects.
The Challenge is looking for initiatives that will make actual progress on the 17 Goals and turn Lagos into a more resilient city. This grant competition is accessible to Lagos State Civil Society Organizations, Social Impact Ventures, and Non-Governmental Organizations.
