Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, has reacted to Senator Ademola Adeleke’s appointment as Osun State’s executive governor.
According to WITHIN NIGERIA, Adeleke took the oath of office and allegiance as Osun state governor on Sunday, November 27, 2022.
Obi congratulated the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain on his appointment as the state’s sixth governor in a Twitter thread on Monday night, describing his inauguration as “dogged and resilient.”
The presidential candidate wished Adeleke a fruitful and productive governorship. Obi urged Governor Adeleke to serve the people of the state during his term.
The Labour Party presidential candidate’s tweets read:

WITHIN NIGERIA reports that the newly inaugurated governor defeated his predecessor, Gboyega Oyetola, during the July 16 governorship election in the State.
He won the election on the platform of the PDP after losing out in the 2018 gubernatorial election.
