The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has reiterated that the separatist group is not involved in kidnappings, contrary to the Nigerian Police Force claims.
WITHIN NIGERIA reports that the proscribed organization stated that it has never engaged in kidnapping and that any claim to the contrary was outside of its mandate.
According to the group, the Katsina State Police Command’s recent claim about the arrest of a member of its security outfit, Eastern Security Network (ESN), in the state is not only ridiculous but also demeaning to the police force.
The IPOB’s reaction comes in response to a police report by the Katsina Police Command claiming to have arrested an ESN member in the state.
