Former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode has alleged a plot to assassinate Senator Mohammed Sani Musa of Niger East Senatorial District in the National Assembly.
On Saturday evening, Fani-Kayode claimed that nine armed men attacked his home in Minna, Niger State’s capital, via his Twitter page.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain described the alleged plot to assassinate Senator Musa as despicable, condemning the attack on his residence.
Fani-Kayode, on the other hand, stated that some of the perpetrators had been apprehended by security agencies and that those responsible for the attempted murder of the Senator and his family would be exposed and brought to justice.
He wrote:
The horrendous attempt to kill Sen. Sani Musa, a dear friend & brother of mine, a leading member of the APC & one of the Directors in the Tinubu/Shettima PCC in his home this evening by 9 well-armed, bloodthirsty & violent assassins is despicable. I wholeheartedly condemn it.
Thankfully some of the perpetrators have been apprehended by the security agencies and those that were behind this dastardly attempt to kill the Senator and his family shall be exposed and brought to justice.
May God protect us all from evil and bloodthirsty men.
