On Thursday, Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), attended the annual Living Faith Church programme in Shiloh.
Obi was present at the church’s headquarters in Ota, Ogun State.
The moment Pastor Abioye, vice president of Living Faith, announced Obi’s arrival, the congregation erupted in raucous applause.
Since becoming a leading contender for the LP presidential nomination, Obi has made it a point to visit churches and speak with clergy.
The former Anambra State governor had visited Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Fire Ministries in Edo State.
He was at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, with Pastor Enoch Adeboye preaching.
In July, Obi had met with the founder of Living Faith Bible Church, David Oyedepo, at the church’s headquarters in Ota, Ogun State.
Also, Obi met with Paul Enenche of Dunamis International Gospel Centre.
The LP presidential flag bearer had also met with the Methodist Church community.
