President Muhammadu Buhari has stated that the All Progressives Congress (APC) can only win the 2023 general elections if all members unite and work out their differences.
The President made this known on Friday at his Daura residence when he received the APC’s governorship candidate in Katsina State, Dikko Radda, and his running mate, Faruk Lawal Jobe.
President Buhari has stated that unity and cooperation are the key to the ruling party’s victory in the 2023 general elections.
The Nigerian president believes that party leaders must “sit together” to avoid divisions and ensure unity in order to avoid electoral defeat.
President Buhari stated that he received regular updates on the ongoing campaigns in Katsina State and was pleased that so much effort was being put into the exercise.
President Buhari reiterated his commitment to holding free, fair, and credible elections in the country, saying that the results in Anambra, Ekiti, and Osun were proof of his commitment.
He went on to say that he was honoured by the visit and wished the party luck in the contests.
