Debbie Enenche: Gov Samuel Ortom sends message to newlywed couple

The governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom, has urged newlywed couple, Samuel Uloko and his wife Deborah, to uphold their marriage vows in order to draw God’s blessings.

The couple’s holy matrimony was solemnised on Saturday, December 17, 2022, in front of Governor Ortom and other prominent dignitaries from across the nation.

The ceremony took place at Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Glory Dome, FCT Abuja.

The bride, Barrister Deborah is the daughter of the General Overseer, Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Pastor Paul Enenche.

In his remarks at the reception, Governor Ortom admonished the couple to live according to their marital vows, stating that by doing so, the blessings of God would remain with them and their marriage would be fruitful.

Governor Ortom, who was the Chief Host at the occasion, particularly lauded parents of the couple for bringing up their children in the way of God.

He also commended the couple for honouring their parents and for being of good conduct by coming before God to begin their journey in marriage.

Former President of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan who also graced the occasion, in a speech earlier, extolled the parents of the couple for adding value to humanity through their ministry which he acknowledged has impacted positively on the lives of many.

The former also urged the newly wedded couple to be shining examples of the families and a blessing to others.

The State Deputy Governor, Engr Benson Abounu commended the couple for their bold step into the ordinance of marriage and enjoined them to respect each other to enjoy a blissful union.

Senator representing Benue South, Comrade Abba Moro urged the new couple to be faithful to each other adding that every marriage survives when it is built on mutual trust.

Earlier in an exhortation on the topic “Marriage is Beautiful,” Pastor Isaac Oyedepo of Living Faith Church, advised the new couple to invest in knowledge, spirituality and intimacy to build and sustain a happy marital union.

The founder of Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo offered prayers for the new couple.
