Paul Onuachu, a star for the Super Eagles, has garnered interest from a number of clubs, according to Genk manager Dimitri Conde.
Next month, when the transfer window reopens, Genk will have a tough time keeping hold of their star striker.
For the previous two years, Onuachu has been the club’s leading scorer.
The 28-year-old scored 33 goals in 38 league games in the 2020/21 season.
Last season, he struggled with injuries, but still hit 21 goals in 35 games.
The big striker has already scored 13 goals in 14 appearances for the Smurfs this term.
“There is interest in Onuachu here and there, I won’t deny that,” Conde was quoted by Tipsbladet.
“But no one is eager to switch. We have something beautiful going on and want to finish it. We don’t want to let anyone go this winter either.”
Onuachu has been linked with Premier League and LaLiga clubs in the past.
