From Argentina defeating France in the World Cup final to break a 36-year jinx, to Morocco breaking an 88-year jinx to become first Africa country to reach a World Cup semi-final, the just-concluded Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup was certainly a World Cup for record breakers.
Many players set numerous individual records, wrote their names in the sands of time, countries broke jinxes and history rewritten.
