The Federal Executive Council, led by President Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), has received praise from Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni for sanctioning the construction of 132KV substations in Nguru and Geidam.
Buni, Mamman Mohammed, his Director-General for Press and Media Affairs, stated that the substations would enhance the lives of residents in the border settlements in a statement made in Damaturu on Thursday.
He claimed that the towns were entrepreneurial, had active business operations, and would benefit from a consistent electrical supply.
Buni added that by increasing the power supply, the substations will also generate more money and job prospects.
“The Buhari administration has given the people of Yobe a sense of belonging and we truly appreciate that,” the governor said.
He called on the people of the state to continue supporting the Buhari administration for more dividends of democracy.
