Dino Melaye, the spokesman for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential campaign council, has sent a message to Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike.
WITHIN NIGERIA reports that this comes after Wike and the other G5 governors returned from their meeting in London.
Wike, speaking in Rivers State on Friday, stated that the G5 have yet to reach an agreement with Tinubu, despite widespread reports online.
He also dared the PDP to expel him and face severe repercussions, pointing out that Atiku Abubakar has been meeting with APC governors.
Dino Melaye urged Wike and the other G5 governors to return to the party and build a formidable force to defeat the APC in the 2023 election in a post shared on Twitter.
He added that the five Christian governors should not be accused of religious bigotry by supporting the APC Muslim-Muslim ticket.
He wrote:
Governor Wike and the other G4 Governors must quickly come back home and build a formidable strength against the party regarded as public enemy (APC). The five governors are all Christians and should not give coloration of religious bigotry. It is time to stop dancing naked. SDM.
