The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) period in Abia State will come to an end in the upcoming general election, according to Dr. Kingsley Ononogbu, chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
In his new year greeting to the state’s residents, which was made accessible on Sunday, Ononogbu said that this year is not just another one, but rather one that heralds great developments for everyone.
He said, “This year, the PDP must be thrown out of the government house. We can make it possible by using our votes conscientiously. Abia can no longer afford to be saddled with the disastrous burden called PDP.
“It is the year of total liberation from the stifling bad governance that has kept our state in its present stagnation. Yes, we are on a journey to the Promised Land and our arrival date is this year.”
He enjoined the people to join the liberation movement being led by High Chief Ikechi Emenike, the APC governorship candidate, saying in Emenike they would find a man with great passion and determination to make the state really great.
