Enugu: Jubilation as Fr. Mbaka returns to Nigeria

There is Jubilation in Enugu today as the former Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria, AMEN Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka has returned to Enugu on Wednesday afternoon.

Tens of hundreds of members of the Adoration Ministry came out en masse to welcome the fiery priest.

Recall that embattled Enugu Priest, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka has been removed as Spiritual Director from the Adoration Ministry.

He was sent to Monastery in October,2022 for deep spiritual reflection.

The Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Most Rev Dr Calistus Onaga threw a bigger twist in the Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria (AMEN), simmering saga by removing  Rev Camillus Ejike Mbaka.

Rev Fr Anthony Amadi has been appointed as the new Director of the Ministry.

Fr Ejike Mbaka was instructed to go to a monastery in the United States of America, USA for deep prayers to ask God for proper directions over his calling which he made controversial.

The Adoration Ministry, which was shut down three months before Fr. Mbaka oversea travel with new Spiritual Director ministering at the Adoration ground with a 10 am Holy Mass.

Mbaka’s trouble started three months ago after he preached against Labour Party’s Presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi.

Though, it is still not clear whether the Ministry will be handed back to Fr. Mbaka or the new Director will retain his position our reporter gathered that the return of the former Director has given the members high morale boost.
