Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has expressed confidence and optimism that the ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) will floor the opposition in the state in the upcoming election.
He said the party will win the state governorship election in the state despite the noisemaking from the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC).
Ortom spoke when he received the PDP’s governorship candidate, Titus Uba, at Government House in Makurdi.
Uba had just returned home after being away for several weeks on medical vacation in Germany where he underwent treatment for an undisclosed ailment.
Ortom while thanking God for the speedy recovery of Uba, said his quick recovery was an indication that all forces of darkness against the state and PDP had failed woefully.
