In order to officially welcome President Muhammadu Buhari to Yobe state, Governor Mai Mala Buni has declared Monday and Tuesday to be public holidays.
This was stated in a statement made by Alhaji Garba Bilal, the state’s chief of service, on Sunday in Damaturu.
“This is to enable civil servants and the general public to receive the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, who will be in the state on a one-day state visit to commission projects.”
Civil servants are to resume work on Wednesday.
Buhari will be visiting the state to inaugurate projects, including the cargo airport, the ultra-modern market, and the maternal and child healthcare complex.
