Pastor Tunde Bakare, the Serving Overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church, also known as the Latter Rain Assembly, has urged Nigerians to avoid political merchants and charlatans in the upcoming elections.
Bakare made the remarks during a state of the nation address at the CGCC Auditorium in Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos, on Sunday.
According to the former presidential candidate, Nigerians must avoid voting for political merchants and vote buyers in the upcoming elections in order to avoid risking the lives of their children and unborn children.
He said:
In 2023, we must avoid political political merchants and vote buyers.
Bakare, on the other hand, stated that the 2023 general elections have placed Nigeria at a crossroads in terms of choosing a president, emphasizing that whatever choice Nigerians make at the polls, the country will remain fragile.
