With the large turnout at the New Nigeria Peoples Party’s campaign rally, Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and Atiku Abubakar, the PDP’s nominee, may find it difficult to secure bloc votes from the core northern states (NNPP).
According to WITHIN NIGERIA, Rabiu Kwankwaso, the NNPP presidential candidate, held his campaign rally on Saturday, January 14, 2023, in Kaduna State, a few days after the Bauchi tsunami.
Kwankwaso, Isaac Idahosa, the National Chairman, Rufai Alkali, and members of the National Working Committee were present (NWC).
At the event, Kwankwaso exhorts attendees to vote for all NNPP candidates, from the president to the house of assembly, and to ignore the APC and PDP.
At the rally, he also gave flags to every Northwest zone candidate for governor and senate.
The Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna was host to a sizable crowd of party supporters for the event.
Sharing some of the photos of the event on Twitter, Kwakwaso wrote:
Today, we restated our pact with the good people of Kaduna State on Rebirthing the Country we all envisage.
At the event, we also presented our seven gubernatorial candidates from the Northwest Zone with their flags and called on them to intensify mobilization. – RMK
