Wolves have agreed to terms with French club Paris Saint Germain for the services of Spanish star Pablo Sarabia.
Wolves will pay PSG £4.4 million to sign Pablo Sarabia, who was on loan at Sporting Lisbon during the 2021-2022 season.
The 30-year-old right winger is scheduled to have his medical in England on Tuesday. Following that, the Spaniard will sign a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Premier League club.
He joined PSG from Sevilla in 2019 and has had 11 goals in 35 Ligue 1 games since then.
Pablo Sarabia, who has played in nearly every age-group team in Spain, made his international debut on September 5, 2019. Since then, the Real Madrid graduate has scored nine goals and appeared in 26 senior team matches for Spain.
Wolves manager Julen Lopetegui is familiar with Sarabia due to his involvement with national age-group teams, and they briefly crossed paths at Sevilla.
Sarabia had never played a competitive match for Lopetegui’s Sevilla before joining PSG.
WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that Wolves signed Brazilian forward Matheus Cunha on a loan deal from Atletico Madrid in December. The club completed the signing of Gabon midfielder Mario Lemina from Nice on Friday. As a result, Sarabia will be the club’s third signing of the winter transfer window.
