Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has expressed gratitude to the people of Bauchi State for the warm reception he received during his party’s rally on Monday.
Tinubu, his running mate, Kashim Shettima, and a slew of other APC leaders descended on Bauchi for the party’s presidential campaign rally.
The President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, was also present to lead the campaign as a massive crowd descended on the campaign venue.
However, the campaign rally was cut short due to a problem with the venue’s sound system.
President Buhari was unable to address party supporters who had gathered in the stadium to support the APC’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.
The light went out shortly after APC National Chairman Abdullahi Adamu took the podium and began speaking.
However, hours after the rally ended abruptly, Tinubu took to Twitter, ignoring the incident involving the sound system, to thank supporters in Bauchi for turning out in large numbers for the rally.
While sharing pictures from the rally, the APC candidate wrote:
Thank you Bauchi for coming out in force to support the agenda of #RenewedHope23.
