The Supreme Court on Wednesday has nullified the nomination of Emmanuel Bwacha as the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Taraba State.
One of the APC aspirants, David Sabo Kente, filed a lawsuit against Bwacha’s candidature.
A five-member panel led by Kudirat Kekere-Ekun delivered judgement on Wednesday.
The justices affirmed the verdict of the Federal High Court which held that the All Progressive Congress, APC did not conduct a valid governorship primary.
It was learnt the Federal High Court in Jalingo, the State capital, gave the ruling on September 20, 2022.
