Femi Fani-Kayode, a former aviation minister and spokesperson for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, was released by the Department of State Services (DSS) after being invited on Monday morning.
WITHIN NIGERIA reports that the DSS invited Fani-Kayode over an allegation of plotting a coup during the elections slated for this month.
The APC PCC spokesperson confirmed he has been released by the DSS and was on his way home this evening.
“I’ve been released. I’m on my way home. I’m going to address the press on the matter. Everything is under control.”
Fani-Kayode was grilled for hours before he was released.
