If elected in the election on next Saturday, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC’s presidential candidate, has vowed to lead a real government of the people, by the people, and for the people.
At the party’s presidential campaign rally on February 18 in Maiduguri, Borno State, Tinubu reaffirmed his promise to lead a government that would prioritize hard work, integrity, and accountability in running the nation’s affairs.
He expressed happiness over the state’s residents attending the rally for his campaign.
“Borno, you proved different, a new hope is here and behold, success is back!,” he declared, apparently referring to similar campaigns held in other parts of the north with less crowd.
Abdullahi Adamu, the national chairman of the party, also expressed his happiness at the state’s residents’ attendance at the rally.
“Nothing, aside from God’s will, will deprive us of victory in the election,” Adamu said, expressing confidence in the party’s ability to win the election.
The state’s governor, Babagana Zulum, expressed confidence in Tinubu’s ability to uphold public confidence.
The rally was attended by the governors of Kano, Yobe, Jigawa, Gombe, and Nasarawa, Abdullahi Ganduje, Mai Mala Buni, Muhammadu Badaru, Inuwa Yahaya, and Abdullahi Sule.
