Within Nigeria reports that this was stated by the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba, in a press conference after the first National Security Council meeting of 2023, which was held on Wednesday at the Aso Villa in Abuja and presided over by the President.
Elections would take place in a secure environment, according to Abubakar Malami, the Attorney General of the Federation, who also stated that the council was pleased with the level of security nationwide.
