Eddy Olafeso, a former National Vice Chairman (South-West) of the Peoples Democratic Party, warned on Wednesday that the G-5 governors’ quest will end in disaster.
Olafeso stated this in response to the governor’s refusal to support the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
The PDP chieftain went on to say that it is not too late for the five disgruntled governors to change their minds and support Atiku.
Nyesom Wike (Rivers State), Seyi Makinde (Oyo State), Samuel Ortom (Benue State), Ifeanyi Ugwanyi (Enugu State), and Okezie Ikpeazu (Enugu State) are the G-5 governors (Abia State).
WITHIN NIGRIA reports that Olafeso stated this to journalists on Wednesday in Akure, the capital of Ondo State.
He said;
It would have been better if all of us were on the same page.
But it is never too late to retrace your steps. It is the same thing they promoted and are rejecting now, but tomorrow belongs to God.
I think there must be a law of Karma behind the G-5; the mindlessness of their quest will end in total disaster for them.
He called on Nigerians to vote for the presidential and national assembly candidates of the party on Saturday.
According to Olafeso, the All Progressives Congress (APC) whom he claimed had damaged the country will be buried on Saturday.
Olafeso said;
We must dislodge the APC from this country; the APC is unknown to modern politics. The APC has done enough for us to bury them, and I know for sure they will be buried on Saturday. Our country must be united; we are going to do very well in the South-West.
