The Naira, the national currency of Nigeria, has declined in value in relation to the dollar, trading at N461.60 per dollar at the Investors’ and Exporters’ window.
Compared to the N461.33 it traded on Tuesday, this amount represented a 0.06 percent decline.
On Wednesday, the open indicative rate reached a high of N461.35 to the dollar.
An exchange rate of N462.01 to the dollar was the highest rate recorded within the day’s trading before it settled at N461.60.
The Naira sold for as low as N446 to the dollar within the day’s trading.
A total of 81.95 million dollars was traded at the official Investors and Exporters window on Wednesday.
