Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, has maintained his lead in Rivers State.
WITHIN NIGERIA reports that the APC flag bearer has won in nine LGAs across nine states as collation continues.
Prof. Charles Teddy Adias, Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University Otuoke and Rivers Collation Officer, announced the results in the presence of Rivers State Electoral Commissioner, Johnson Sinikiem.
According to a breakdown of the results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Tinubu leads in the nine LGAs with a total vote of 92, 023 to defeat his main rivals in the race.
Tinubu received nine LGAs, Obi received two, and Atiku received none.
In Asari-Toru, Oyigbo, Abua Odua, Omuma, Gokana, Emohua, Eleme, Tai, and Opobo Nkoro, the APC candidate won, while Obi won in Bonny and Ahoada West.
The center took a break to await results from the remaining 12 local government areas.
