The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has been accused of tampering with the 2023 presidential election, which will be held on February 25th, 2023.
This follows a challenge by some political parties to INEC for failing to upload results from polling units across the country before the national collation began in Abuja.
Dino Melaye, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) agent, and Emeka Ihedioha, a former governor of Imo State, had challenged the electoral body to address their demand.
However, after resuming collation and listening to party agents’ concerns, INEC ignored their demands and continued with the collation.
The PDP, Labour Party (LP), and several other parties withdrew their representatives from the presidential collation.
The agents of the political parties threatened to act on their demands, following the decision of INEC to continue with collation.
