The Governor of Adamawa State Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has suspended all operations of international and local non governmental organizations NGOs operating in Adamawa state.
The Governor gave the directive this evening while briefing newsmen during his state broadcast after the general elections.
The Governor revealed that some NGOs where operating as political parties sharing items and buying votes therefore all their activities are banned until after elections.
He revealed that some NGOs we’re using their outreach to the people to play politics and buying votes for some political organizations.
He warned that any NGO found in in operations within Adamawa state would be apprehended and arrested henceforth.
He warned all citizens to avoid violence behavior as the security agents have been mandated to descend upon anyone or person formating troubles or causing bleach of peace within Adamawa state.
