Bola Tinubu’s election as president-elect of Nigeria has prompted a response from Musiliu Akinsanya, leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), also known by his stage name MC Oluomo.
Tinubu has been declared the victor of the presidential election held on February 25.
The former governor of Lagos State was declared the victor of the hotly contested election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), surpassing his rivals from other political parties in voter turnout.
Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) finished second to Tinubu in the results that State Collation Officers presented to INEC, while Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) finished third.
According to Naija News, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the presidential candidate for the New Nigeria Peoples’ Party (NNPP), finished far behind the other three leading candidates for the top political position in the country.
