On Wednesday, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo presided over a meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC).
The weekly FEC meeting is being held at Abuja’s State House.
The FEC meeting today is the first since the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, was declared president-elect.
Boss Mustapha, Secretary to Government of the Federation; Dr Folashade Yemi-Esan, Federation Head of Civil Service; Babagana Monguno, National Security Adviser; Prof. Ibrahim Gambari, President’s Chief of Staff; and Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission are all present.
Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development Minister Sadiya Farouk; Finance Minister Zainab Ahmed; Industry, Trade and Investment Minister Niyi Adebayo; Agriculture Minister Mohammad Abubakar; Aviation Minister Hadi Sirika; Niger Delta Minister Umana Umana; Power Minister Abubakar Aliyu; Youth and Sports Minister Sunday Dare; Transportation Minister Mu’azu Sambo; and Environment Minister Mohammed Abdullahi are among those attending.
Clem Agba, Minister of State for Budget and National Planning; Mariam Katagum, Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment; Henry Ikoh, Minister of Science and Technology; Zubairu Dada, Minister of Foreign Affairs; and Timipre Sylva, Minister of Petroleum, will also be present.
