Imo: Federal Poly Nekede female student declared missing

A female student of Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Imo state, has been declared missing since close to a week.

Miss Stephenie Chikachi  of department of Mass Communication of the institution was declared by a close friend and school mate, Ohaukwu LouisMonfort in his Facebook account after several efforts to get her whereabouts proved abortive.

However, in an exclusive chat with Mr. Ohaukwu, who is also a student of the department of Public Administration of the institution revealed that Miss Stephenie Chikachi is from Anambra state.

Narrating further, Mr. Ohaukwu explained that “she is about 25 to 26 of age and slim.

“Chika left her lodge at about 5:00pm on Saturday 18th of February to travel to her sister’s place at Asaba for her Industrial Training.

“The last she was heard from was when she confirmed she just enter the bus that will take her to Asaba and since then her phone has been switched off till now. No information about her whereabouts.

“Her sisters confirmed that she didn’t get to Asaba that night which made them to put call across the same night. Up till now we are still in search of her.”

Asked if he is suspecting that she might have been used for rituals, Mr. Ohaukwu said that ” we are praying that nothing bad has happened to her. We have been waiting for calls from kidnappers, incase she was abducted, all to no avail.

“That’s why we are appealing to the general public that if anybody  sees or have any information that can lead to her whereabouts should endeavor to put call across to me on 08162368083.”
