Suleiman Hunkuyi, a former senator for Kaduna North, has stated that parties may band together to vote against the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the governorship race.
In Kaduna on Friday, the Flagbearer of the New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP, spoke to the media.
Hunkuyi warned the electorates that the decision they make on March 11 will have an impact on their future.
The politician stated that, depending on how people manage it, their choice on election day “can be a miscarriage or safe delivery point”.
On possible collaboration by parties in the race, the gubernatorial hopeful said anything can happen within one day.
“The unity of opposition parties is possible within 24 hours in order to chase out APC government from Kaduna State Government House,” he said.
Hunkuyi hinted that he refused to retire from politics since 2019 due to the “abnormalities and pains” the people suffer.
The NNPP, a former chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, appealed to the people to shun money politics and vote buyers.
