Hajiya Naja’atu Mohammed, former Director of the Civil Society Directorate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, joined hundreds of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members who stormed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) headquarters on Monday (today).
WITHIN NIGERIA previously reported that PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar and his running mate, Delta Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, stormed the INEC national headquarters in Abuja today to protest the commission’s declaration of APC candidate Bola Tinubu as the February 25th presidential election winner.
The protest was led by PDP national chairman, Senator Iyorchia Ayu, and was accompanied by top stakeholders of the party supporters, who all gathered at the Legacy House Maitama this morning to begin the protest March.
Hajiya Naja’atu, who has recently become a vocal critic of Tinubu’s APC, also joined the protest today. Senator Shehu Sani, a former lawmaker, posted a photo of herself at the protest site.
Sharing the photo of Naja’atu and himself on Twitter, Sani captioned:
