Reno Omokri, a former presidential aide, has stated that the Yorubas are the most accommodating people in Nigeria.
The media personality commended the tribe for its consideration of other tribes.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stalwart noted on Twitter that most of what Lagosians tolerate would not be tolerated elsewhere.
He tweeted:
The most accommodating people in Nigeria are the Yoruba. The most accommodating place in Nigeria is Lagos. What Lagosians accept will not be accepted anywhere else. And for this, the Yoruba deserve kudos not knocks! We all should be like them. #NigerianElections2023 #TableShaker.

Reno Slams Critics Of LP Candidate, Rhodes-Vivour
Reno Omokri, a former presidential aide, has endorsed Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the Labour Party’s governorship candidate in Lagos.
Reno contended that Rhodes-Vivour’s surname proves he is a descendant of the original Lagosians.
According to him, Vivour refers to a slave who escaped slavery and returned to Lagos more than a century ago as a survivor.
Reno Omokri stated that while he does not support Vivour’s candidacy, he believes he is a true Lagosian and has the right to run for office.
He wrote;
Anybody with the last name Vivor has a very strong Lagos pedigree. The name is short for Survivor. The Vivors or Vivours are people who endured slavery and made it back to Lagos more than a century ago as survivors. Rhodes-Vivor could mean they survived Rhodes (possibly a former slave owner, or a name they were given or took) and lived to tell.
I don’t support Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour. I am very much loyal to the Peoples Democratic Party and.I urge all my followers in Lagos to vote PDP from top to bottom. However, I have been a victim of identity politics and nobody should have to go through that. But even if he was Igbo (he is not) and so what? We must make an effort to build a united country, and it takes some give and take.
