Napoli made it to the quarter-finals of the Champions League for the first time in their history after Wednesday’s 3-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt.
Victor Osimhen struck either side of half-time and Piotr Zielinski added another from the penalty spot to secure a 5-0 aggregate triumph in the last 16 for Serie A’s runaway leaders.
Osimhen was named as the man of the match.
The 24-year-old’s first 51 Napoli goals have come in 90 games since joining from Lille in July 2020.
He is said to be on the radar of many clubs in England.
That interest will likely have been heightened after he told reporters earlier this month: “I’m working so hard to make sure that I achieve my dream of playing in the Premier League some day.
“But it’s a process and I just want to keep on this momentum and continue to do well.”
