The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress and incumbent Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, won the polling unit of the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
The APC candidate polled 43 votes, his closest contender, the Labour Party candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, had five votes, while the National Rescue Movement had one vote.
Meanwhile, there was low turnout of voters at the PU as 50 people voted out of 324 registered voters.
WITHIN NIGERIA had earlier reported that the Labour Party candidate in the Lagos State governorship election, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour lost his polling unit to Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress. Rhodes-Vivour polled 18 votes while Sanwo-Olu won with 29 votes
