The Ebeano political structure founded by the former governor of Enugu State, Senator Dr Chimaroke Nnamani, has joined the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Chief Emmanuel Okwor, Chairman of Ebeano, made the announcement on Tuesday in Enugu.
The announcement comes just one day after its leader, Chimaroke, declared his intention to leave the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Former Enugu governor, Kelvin Chukwu of the Labour Party, LP, had been lamenting his loss of the Enugu East senatorial district seat to the former governor.
”The alliance with APC is to consolidate the partnership with President-Elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu to achieve good governance in the country,” Okwo said.
He further added that members of the ‘Ebeano’ political family across the country had been consulted and in agreement with the alliance in the interest of the people.
