Chimaroke has not hidden his disdain and deep-seated resentment for Obi. In the build up to the presidential election, he took to his social media pages to launch campaign of calumny against Obi and also stated that his candidacy portends danger for the Igbo people.
He campaigned heavily for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu.
