A former Niger Delta militant leader, Asari Dokubo, has accused the Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, of rigging the presidential election scheduled for February 25th, 2023.
Dokubo stated this while refuting allegations that Bola Tinubu, the president-elect and candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), rigged the 2023 presidential election.
Elections across the country, according to Dokubo, have revealed that the former governor of Anambra State rigged the electoral process.
He went on to say that Obi could not have received two million votes in a free and fair election and that he could not even win in Anambra State.
Dokubo’s statement comes at a time when Obi and the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, is contesting Tinubu’s victory.
Obi and Atiku have asked the court to order the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to allow their lawyers to inspect voting materials.
Dokubo, on the other hand, claimed in a Facebook Live on Monday that Obi rigged the election.
He said;
The elections all over the country have exposed that the person who rigged the election was Peter Obi. The results are very clear.
If they look at the election well, he cannot score two million votes. In a free and fair election, even in Anambra, Obi will not win.
