Suspected ritualists have killed a yet-to-be-identified man and harvested his body parts in Akure, Ondo State.
The killers after removing deceased body parts dumped the corpse around the Benin motor park area of the state.
The state police spokesperson, Olufumilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, who disclosed this to newsmen, said the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) at Oba-Ile Police Station and his men had visited the incident scene.
Odunlami-Omisanya said the corpse had been checked and moved to the mortuary in the specialist hospital, Akure.
“Preliminary findings showed that the man was said to be a driver from Idanre Local Government Area of Ondo state,” she said
The police spokeswoman added that the corpse of the deceased has been deposited at the state morgue.
