Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has said that anyone who believes they can unseat President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is daydreaming.
Fayose stated this while appearing on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Tuesday.
Recall that the presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, and his Labour Party (LP) counterpart, Peter Obi, headed to the courts to challenge Tinubu’s victory.
Tinubu was declared the winner of the February 25 Presidential election by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, after beating the likes of Atiku and Obi.
However, Fayose believes the election is already done and dusted, adding that the aggrieved are putting themselves in a nightmare.
Fayose said, “I’m not desperate for an appointment. I have been governor twice. I’m contented, but for anybody to say he will unseat Ahmed Bola Tinubu, you are daydreaming.
“It’s a nightmare you are putting yourself through. That election has come and gone.”
